Everyone ages. Some do it gracefully, while others do not. This is not to say that those who get wrinkles or grey hair are not aging gracefully, but the opposite. Aging gracefully, to me, means accepting who you are, yet striving to become better. It means staying healthy instead of letting yourself go. It means staying natural instead of getting lots of plastic surgery.
This leads to the question of whether or not using supplements is still "staying natural". I've heard the debate before in the sports world, but never in the general health market. To me, the idea of using a naturally occurring herb being considered "not natural" is just absurd.
Knowingly taking supplements that are naturally occurring shouldn't be viewed any different than eating a diet rich in carrots, for the beta-carotene, or bananas for the potassium. Its not cheating. It is clearly not the same as taking steroids or getting liposuction; those ARE cheating! Anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.
That being said, some view exercise as "not natural". As though our bodies were meant to do office work, then come home and sit in front of the television for 5 hours before going to sleep and starting over. Hello? We were meant to move! We were meant to do! We were meant to exercise!
